Dear You(2022) 致 你

Dear you is an open discussion about the relationship between artist and viewer, and it also discussed the distance of observing an artwork. It is an open invitation to let people pet the plant: Urtica (Brennessel). The feeling of touching the urtica may bring the physiological experience for the viewer, or psychological fears and bad memories come whistling back, which is also giving back the right to viewer to interact with artwork. The nettles in the installation are constantly stroked by the artist's cast hands, is this also an intervention in nature?

In this work, a decentralized concept "you" can refer to many things. Artist is sharing some experiences of embracing nature. And what is the relationship between human and nature and art when it is beyond the scene of Museum or gallery or a indoor space.
this claim that the nettles are part of this work,is an attempt to break this physical quadrangle.
